About the Cause
The “2020 Chesapeake Jeep Club Freedom Ride” Charity Fundraising event
has been canceled 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Due to the continued circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, we are forced to cancel the 7th Annual Freedom Ride for 2020. This was an extremely difficult decision and not something we wanted to do. With all the restrictions and future of events being held in Prince George’s County still unknown, we cannot plan to provide the event that we have all come to know and love.
All registrations and payments for merchandise will be refunded, unless previous arrangements have been made. Monetary donations will also be refunded. Any items that were donated will be retained for the 2021 Freedom Ride.
Thank you to all our supporters and we look forward to continuing next year.
The Chesapeake Jeep Club is raising funds to assist the Police K-9 section with retired dog medical expenses, as well as much needed equipment and training for working dogs. 100% of the proceeds are going to benefit the Prince George’s County Police K-9 Section. This event will have people in attendance from all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Virginia.
In 2018, the Chesapeake Jeep Club had 179 Jeeps in attendance and raised $11,190 to assist the Police K-9 section with retired dog medical expenses, as well as much needed equipment and training for working dogs. 100% of the proceeds are going directly to benefit the Prince George’s County Police Department K-9 Section.
